What Are the Earth Chronicles?¶
The Earth Chronicles series proposes that a hypothetical planet in our solar system with a 3,600-year orbital period is the homeworld of the Anunnaki, an extraterrestrial civilization that visited Earth approximately 450,000 years ago. According to readings of ancient Sumerian texts, the Anunnaki came to Earth seeking gold — which they needed to repair their planet's atmosphere. They established colonies in Mesopotamia, genetically engineered Homo sapiens as a worker species, and profoundly shaped the early civilizations of Sumer, Babylon, Egypt, and the Indus Valley.
