Arrival of the Anunnaki

According to Zecharia Sitchin, the Anunnaki arrived on Earth approximately 450,000 years ago. They came from Nibiru, the twelfth planet, in a fleet of spacecraft seeking gold to repair their planet’s atmosphere.
The Landing
The first landing site was Eridu, in what is now southern Iraq. The Anunnaki established a base camp and began surveying the planet for resources.
The Leadership
The initial expedition was led by:
- Enki — Chief scientist and expedition leader
- Enlil — Commander of the mission
- Anu — King of Nibiru (who remained in orbit or visited occasionally)
The Purpose
The Anunnaki came to Earth for gold, which they needed to create a reflective shield to protect Nibiru’s atmosphere from solar radiation.
