Creation of Humanity
Date: Approximately 445,000 BCE
Deep-dive: Adamu · the genetic-creation evidence · Ninmah
After the Igigi rebellion, Enki proposed creating a “primitive worker” — a hybrid being that could perform the labor of the mines. This led to the genetic engineering of Adamu, the first Homo sapiens.
The Procedure
According to the Atra-Hasis epic and Sitchin’s reading:
- The genetic material of an Anunnaki male was combined with the egg of a female hominid (Homo erectus)
- The resulting embryo was gestated in a “womb of birth” (laboratory)
- Ninmah (Nintur) performed the genetic manipulation
- Seven pairs of humans were created — the first generation
The Result
The result was Homo sapiens — a hybrid species with:
- The physical form of the Anunnaki
- Human cognitive abilities enhanced with Anunnaki traits
- The ability to reproduce
- A shorter lifespan than the Anunnaki
