The Creation

Genesis 1:1-2:

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep."

Enuma ElΓ­Ε‘:

"When on high the heaven had not been named, firm ground below had not been called by name, naught but primordial Apsu, their begetter... and Tiamat, she who bore them all..."

Sitchin: "The 'deep' β€” tehom in Hebrew β€” is a direct linguistic descendant of Tiamat, the primordial planet."

The Garden of Eden

Genesis 2:8-14:

*"And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden... and a river went out of Eden to water the garden..."

Sumerian E.DIN texts:

"Eridu was built, the pure place, the good city, the house of the great gods. The waters of the Abzu flow there."

The Flood

Genesis 6-9:

"And God said unto Noah, 'The end of all flesh is come before me... Make thee an ark of gopher wood...'"

Atra-Hasis:

"Reed wall, reed wall! Listen! Pay attention, O Atra-Hasis! Tear down your house, build a boat. Abandon your possessions, save your life!"

The Tower of Babel

Genesis 11:4:

"Let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name..."

Sitchin's Reading:

"Let us build a SHEM β€” a rocketship β€” that will ascend to heaven."
